Some websites include a news module. If your website has one of these modules, you may be able to add new items through the CMS.
Before You Add A News Item
- Choose a clear title.
- Prepare the main text before you start.
- Keep the content focused and useful.
- Prepare any images or PDF downloads before logging in.
- Check names, dates, contact details and links carefully.
Adding The Item
- Log in to the CMS.
- Open the relevant news module.
- Choose the option to add a new item.
- Enter the title, summary and main content.
- Add an image or a PDF, or both.
- Save the item and check the live website.
If Your Website Does Not Have A News Module
Not every website includes a news or updates section. If you need to add an update but cannot find the right module, email changes@easywebsites.co.uk with the wording and any images or files, and we can advise.
