Parish, town and community council websites should be accessible and usable for as many people as possible. If you spot an accessibility issue with the website, please report it so it can be reviewed.

What To Include

  • The website address.
  • The page where the issue appears.
  • A short description of the problem.
  • The device and browser being used, if known.
  • Any assistive technology being used, if relevant and the user is happy to share it.
  • A screenshot or example, if available.

Examples Of Accessibility Issues

  • A link or button that is unclear.
  • Text that is difficult to read because of size, colour or contrast.
  • An image that needs a clearer text alternative.
  • A page section that appears broken, confusing or difficult to use.
  • A website feature that is not behaving as expected.

Where To Send It

If the issue relates to a standard content update or CMS-managed council content, email admin@easywebsites.co.uk.

If the issue appears to be a technical website problem, layout issue or development issue, email changes@easywebsites.co.uk.

Why This Matters

Accessibility helps residents use council information and services more easily. It is especially important for public sector websites and council information.
