When you are sending content for a new website, clear and organised information helps the project move forward more smoothly.
Text Content
Please send text in a clear format such as a Word document, Google Doc or email. Where possible, group the content by page or section, for example Home, About, Services, FAQs and Contact.
If You Do Not Have Final Text Yet
If you are not sure what to write, send us the key points you want the page to cover. We can help shape the wording, but it is still important that you check the final text is accurate for your business, council or organisation.
Images
Please send images as separate files where possible. Avoid placing important images inside Word documents, as this can reduce quality and make them harder to use.
Logos And Brand Files
If you have a logo, brand guidelines, colours, fonts or other brand assets, please send these near the start of the project.
Documents And Downloads
If the website needs downloadable files such as PDFs, forms, menus, policies or brochures, send the final approved versions and explain where they should appear on the website.
Useful Notes
If you have examples of websites you like, or websites you do not like, send those too. This can help guide the design direction and avoid assumptions.
